I've been visiting various forums for the more modern approach to "self-help".
You post what's going on and everyone gives you suggestions to help you make a decision.
Sometimes it can be therapeutic but it can also be quite dangerous. Kind of like those drug commercials on tv ~~ if you have this symptom and this symptom then you may have this disease and we have the super pill that will fix you right up so ask your doctor.
Well any way a few weeks back on one of those forums someone had a really nice artistic "signature" with this saying:
"True love will make you blind, but if you let it, true love can also open your eyes" ~~originally posted by giftathena
I have been reading and re-reading this quote over and over again.
I can't help but think........what???
I'm more familiar with the old saying that love is blind.
In reality it's not that love is blind, it's more like we choose not to see the truth. The truth will spoil the image of what we want so desperately something or someone to be. We make that square peg fit our round hole.
If "true love can also open your eyes" is this why I'm having all these questions?
This is something I've never pondered over before.
